The Beach

The Yaquina Bay Lighthouse in Newport.

Loved the soapy, foamy look of the waves contrasted againt the dark rocks on the beach.

The Beach

I was so glad that I was able to capture the movement and energy of the water and waves.

The Beach

A day in Newport and this was the last spot almost at sunset. The colors of the sky were incredible, and the sea and sand were almost like ice - smooth and reflective.

I See You

I like the way she's covered but exposed.

River

The Columbia Slough viewed from Sauvie Island.

Cornfield... Fall Foliage...

Cornfield after fall harvest, wanted to capture the green grass underneath the dead stalks and the straight rows.

The pure red of this berry on a plant that is almost completely brown and dormant for the winter is amazing.

My Dog

What else can I say? He's pretty much the coolest and cutest dog there is...

But camera-shy and tough to catch in a photo, so you are getting multiple perspectives.

A Different View

We came up on this viewing platform while walking on Sauvie Island. I loved that the greenery was in such clear focus in contrast with the wood grain.

Little Girl

Such intense concentration while carving a pumpkin! She's a little frustrated that its tougher to do than she thought it would be.

Wine

Playing with household items to create a scene... learning to work with backgrounds, lighting, etc. Much more frustrating than working with what nature gives you outside!
